Hosting
Limehouse Software is a global supplier of hosted collaboration, creation and stakeholder engagement software and takes advantage of leading technology products to provide its customers with the best hosted service available today ensuring speed, security and access to applications and data 24/7.
Our global data center and bandwidth supplier is Level 3 Communications. Full redundancy is implemented throughout, including traffic re-routing to guarantee our services are delivered 24/7. Our data centers have a high level of security and resilience, with 24-hour air-conditioning power, UPS with emergency generators for backup, fire detection and suppression and security measures that include palm scanners and proximity cards. Onsite facilities include heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and UPS are all configured to N+1 standards, which means that no single point of failure exists. UPS is backed up by onsite generators.
Our data centers also benefit from diverse fibre entries coming into the building, and multiple common raisers to diversely located telecommunication rooms from multiple carriers. Our link to the Internet is delivered directly to our 42U racks via 100mb Ethernet ports from Level 3 networks.
Servers and Switches
The servers selected by Limehouse are all taken from the Hewlett Packard DL380 and DL365 series, DUAL CORE and DUAL CPU with RAID 1 operating system and RAID 5 for the data, guaranteeing both speed and resilience. For our connectivity, we use HP Procurve Giga Bit switches, for best performance and load balancing between servers, and there is always a redundant path available.
Firewall Information
In order to provide the best security and resiliency available, our firewall provider is Juniper. The Juniper Networks NetScreen-25 appliance is an integrated security device for enterprise branch and remote offices. The NetScreen-25 appliance offers 100 Mbps of firewall and 20 Mbps of 3DES or AES VPN performance, with support for 32,000 concurrent sessions, and 125 VPN tunnels. For redundancy purposes and to guarantee the best possible security and availability, we have two firewalls, one in active mode and a second in standby
Load Balancer BIG-IP Information
As an additional layer of security and resiliency for ensuring performance levels Limehouse Software uses F5’s Application Delivery Networking products, that feature platforms that provide unmatched power to dramatically improve Layer 4-7 traffic throughput, administrative ease of use, and provide more application aware traffic management. F5 enhances SSL security using hardware to encrypt and decrypt both the keys and data, leading the market in SSL TPS and bulk encryption.
Storage Information
Limehouse Software utilizes Bobcat NAS Gateway from Onstor to deliver scalability and performance from highly efficient n-way clustered filers.
Application Availability:
Our partner for application availability is Marathon Technologies.
To ensure application availability, Limehouse Software uses everRun HA from supplier Marathon. It delivers extremely high levels of application availability, protecting our customer’s applications, data, networks and operating systems from faults, failures, and dropped network connections. Data integrity is guaranteed by keeping an exact copy on the secondary server to ensure zero data loss in the event of a failure.
We monitor our servers and applications remotely using SNMP protocol, and alerts are sent to our SNMP manager software Opmanager, and also delivered via email to our IT team.
The onstor solution creates hourly snapshots; the data is also synchronized to a remote site, where we have a disaster recovery solution in place. Additionally, the data is backed up to a separate RAID array which is encrypted and mirrored to a second geographically remote data centre.
