The Town of Cary, North Carolina, Strives to Address Direction of Future Urban Development

In addressing this direction for the coming years, the Planning Department has embarked on a project to develop more specific site design standards for mixed use centers, commercial centers, and other types of development that will guide future development to consistently yield vibrant, pedestrian-friendly, well-designed places for the community. Realizing the challenge of an intensive schedule required for developing a detailed standards document, and a continued focus on improving operational efficiencies, the Department looked to Limehouse Software’s ucreate™ Web-based solution to provide more effective collaboration, creation and publishing of these standards.
